“‘The Cry of a Nation’ is a song about people who have been betrayed by those who should guarantee them a decent life, causing bitterness and disappointment. The star represents their face while drowning in nightmares and thinking about putting an end to their life with self-destruction.”
Technical prog metal masters Eldritch have released a video for the song ‘The Cry of a Nation’ – the first single taken from their upcoming new album ‘EOS’, out on November 19th.
Eldritch’s latest masterpiece is easily their best effort ever: a unique mix of early progressive rock elements and modern metal sounds, with hints of AOR, thrash, classic and electronic music.
‘EOS’ is the goddess of the dawn in Greek mythology and the album sounds “classic Eldritch” and yet so contemporary: call it a second youth or, much better, just great music written and performed by a very skilled and confident ensemble.
